The Windmill Centre
Visit our beautiful location on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds.
The Waltham Windmill Centre is a family friendly site offering a number of attractions for all the family.
The site is managed by Waltham Windmill Trust.
The Centre is situated in the village of Waltham, 4 miles south of Grimsby.
Come and enjoy a visit :
- The centrepiece is the iconic windmill. A tower mill built in 1880, it is the only working windmill in Lincolnshire at the time of writing. The millwright considers it to be one of the best in the country.
- Step back in time and visit the Museum of Rural Life.
- Interested in WWII and the Lancaster bombers that once flew for RAF Grimsby (Waltham)? Visit the RAF Grimsby exhibition in the Museum of Rural Life. The Museum is housed in an original WWII Nissen Hut which was the WAAF’s mess in the Second World War.
